Our History

Brothers-in-law Glenn Alessi & Wayne Stelz co-founded Glenn Wayne Bakery in 1990 in a 1,000 square foot facility. We have since out-grown numerous buildings until settling into our brand new state of the art 40,000 square foot facility in 2008. We are a full line bakery manufacturer, offering the highest quality products at competitive prices. We deliver fresh daily in the New York metropolitan Area and produce a high quality frozen product available for distribution nationwide. Unlike fully automated bakeries, we combine the quality of a neighborhood bakery with our state of the art equipment to produce high quality products at high volume quantities.

Our Research and Development room is constantly being utilized to develop and perfect all of our products. Each day we pride ourselves in customizing products to meet the demands of all of our customers. We truly believe that at the end of the day, the importance of quality and freshness surpasses everything else.

Capabilities

We produce freshly baked sweet goods delivered to 500 plus convenience stores in the New York area daily. Our distribution capabilities include local route drivers providing coverage to most NY Metro communities and LTL trucking service capable of delivering frozen product throughout the US. Certifications

We take pride in our attention to detail and creating a safe and efficient working environment. Governed by the New York State Department of Agriculture and registered under the Food and Drug Administration Bioterrorism Act, Glenn Wayne fulfills or exceeds all regulatory requirements and standards as a food processing facility. With our thorough food safety program, suppliers are assessed, strict receiving policies are enforced ensuring that all products are pure and made with only the finest ingredients.
We have received certifications from the following authorities: United States Department of Agriculture, Kof-K Kosher Certification, Kashrut Certification, SQF Certified, United States Food and Drug Administration and The Suffolk County Department of Health Services.
